Recent Studies on the Finer Structures of the Ocular Tissues

Abstract

|
|
In recent years, the ocular tissues were extensively investigated eletron microscopically. Outstanding reports on the findings of the finer structures of every ocular tissue by electron microscope with various means - transmission, scanning, replica and ether methods, are reviewed. Among them, application of electron microscopy to the histopathological diagnosis is a newly developed field with amazing results and some features on the ophthalmic pathology are briefly introduced.
